Drone Motors

The motor is the powerplant of an FPV drone. Modern drone motors are brushless and take heavy load well. The right choice gives your build its power, flight time and reliability.

Choose the motor to match the frame and the propeller. Stator size tells you how big the motor is. A 2207 stator is a common pick on a 5-inch drone. The KV rating has to match your battery voltage. High KV pairs with lower voltage and low KV with higher voltage. A wrong pairing overheats and cuts flight time short. When in doubt, follow the frame maker's recommendations.
