Rainproof Clothing

Rainproof clothing decides whether a day outdoors continues as planned or ends soaked. The category collects rain jackets, over-trousers and ponchos. Each is chosen against real weather, not showroom drizzle.

Genuinely waterproof garments show two tells. The membrane or coating is rated from roughly 10000 mm water column upward. The seams are taped, because untaped stitching is where water wins first. Choose a more breathable membrane for movement. A simpler coated shell covers static duty. The classic poncho covers you pack and all, and doubles as an improvised shelter. Rolled up, a light rain jacket fits in a waist bag. Helikon-Tex, Pentagon, Mil-Tec and UF PRO lead the line-up.

If you are torn between membrane and coating, ask our consultants. They wear the same gear through Estonian weather year-round.
