Rainproof clothing decides whether a day outdoors continues as planned or ends soaked. The category collects rain jackets, over-trousers and ponchos. Each is chosen against real weather, not showroom drizzle.
Genuinely waterproof garments show two tells. The membrane or coating is rated from roughly 10000 mm water column upward. The seams are taped, because untaped stitching is where water wins first.
