BDU (Battle Dress Uniform)
BDU stands for Battle Dress Uniform. It is a military-cut jacket and trouser set built as workwear for the field. Reservists, Kaitseliit (Estonian Defence League) members and conscripts wear it where civilian clothing falls apart - it is built to withstand war.
The category covers ripstop garments in polycotton and NyCo. It includes frogs and jackets as well as tactical pants. Colours run from olive, black and coyote to camouflage patterns such as MultiCam, ESTDCU, M05, Flecktarn and others. Pick knee-pad pockets and a reinforced seat for exercises. Nowadays knee and elbow pads go into the clothing rather than separately on top of it. A plainer cut serves daily wear. Some garments carry NIR-compliant treatment. Check the product page for the exact specification. Brands include Helikon-Tex, UF Pro, Profline, Direct Action, etc.
The same shelves supply institutional buyers. The Estonian Defence Forces and the Police and Border Guard Board are among Steelcore's customers.
