The frame is the skeleton of an FPV drone. It holds the motors, the electronics and the battery together. The drone frame decides the size, the weight and the flying character of the build. This category is for pilots who build their own quad or rebuild a crashed one.
Start from propeller size. The 5-inch class is the most common and works for training and freestyle alike. A smaller frame is nimbler and a bigger one carries more equipment. Carbon fibre survives crashes best. Check the mounting points for the camera and the battery too. Screws and other small parts live in drone tools & DIY supplies. Complete aircraft are in drones.
