Massive limb bleeding has to be stopped within minutes. That is the job of the tourniquet, the best-known piece of tactical first aid gear. It has a fixed place in every IFAK and battle belt setup. We think it should be in your EDC bag.

The selection covers windlass-type CAT-style tourniquets. The same construction is used on TCCC and Stop the Bleed courses worldwide. Authenticity matters, because a cheap copy can snap under tension. Inside a first aid kit it works hand in hand with a pressure bandage.
