IFAKs
An IFAK is your personal first-aid kit on the vest or belt. Its contents are meant for stopping one person's severe bleeding. It is the piece of kit you hope never to need — and must always carry.
The pouch and the contents are separate things. Some models sell empty, some filled — check the product page. A tear-away pouch rips off whole and opens flat next to the casualty. The core contents: a tourniquet, a pressure bandage and gloves. Mount the IFAK where both hands can reach it.
