A cook set solves camp cooking in one purchase. Inside you get a pot, a pan, a mug and often a burner. Every piece nests inside the next, so the whole kit packs small.
Solo sets build around a 750 to 900 ml pot that swallows a gas canister and a mini stove. Larger multi-piece sets feed two or three people. Aluminium cookware is affordable and spreads heat well. Titanium drops a solo kit under 200 grams. Compared with buying pieces one by one, a set packs tighter and nothing rattles. A separate burner can join the kit later. Burners are the one thing that needs replacing occasionally after fuel.
