Pots
Camping pots and mess kits are the heart of outdoor cooking. They boil your water, melt snow and cook the actual meal. A good pot works on a stove and over an open fire.
Material sets the weight and the price. Aluminium spreads heat evenly at a friendly cost. Stainless steel shrugs off campfire abuse. Titanium is the lightest but develops hot spots. A 750 to 900 ml pot covers solo trips. For two or three people, go for 1.5 to 2 litres. A lidded pot cuts fuel use by up to a third. Nesting sets pack down small in a rucksack. Together with a burner and fuel, a pot forms the core of a complete camp kitchen.
Our team of reservists has field-tested these pots on exercises across Estonia. Ask us which volume matches your burner before you order.
