Radio Controller RadioMaster Pocket ExpressLRS Charcoal

The RadioMaster Pocket ExpressLRS Charcoal is a compact, folding radio controller designed for FPV drones and RC models using the ExpressLRS 2.4GHz protocol. Built around Hall-effect gimbals and running EdgeTX, it offers precise, configurable control in a travel-friendly form factor. The EU LBT version meets European radio regulations. The package includes a carry pouch, USB-C cable, screen protector and additional accessories.

ExpressLRS 2.4GHz Control

The Pocket uses ExpressLRS 2.4GHz to communicate with a compatible receiver, with a confirmed control distance of more than 2km at 20dBm. Actual range depends on the receiver used and the surrounding environment. The EU LBT version performs a listen-before-talk channel check before transmitting, reducing interference with other nearby radio equipment.

Hall-Effect Gimbals

Both control sticks use Hall-effect magnetic sensors rather than traditional potentiometers, delivering smooth and accurate stick input with reduced mechanical wear over time.

Screen & EdgeTX Software

A 128 × 64 monochrome LCD displays controller settings and model information. The open-source EdgeTX operating system allows full configuration of controls, model profiles and mixer settings for a wide range of compatible models, with support for up to 16 channels depending on the receiver.

Compact Folding Design

The folding handle design reduces the controller's footprint when not in use — 156.6 × 65.1 × 125.3mm folded and 156.6 × 73.1 × 154.8mm unfolded — making it practical for travel and everyday carry. A nano-size external module bay allows expansion with compatible RF modules.

Power & Charging

The controller operates on 6.6–8.4V DC supplied by 2 × 18650 batteries (not included). Compatible batteries can be charged directly through the built-in USB-C QC3 connection.
