Special Purpose Bags
Special purpose bags are built for one specific job. The largest part of the range is hydration vests and packs for runners and riders. It also covers bikepacking frame and saddle bags, child carriers, laptop sleeves, and packing and toiletry organisers. An ordinary backpack does these jobs badly.
The current selection comes from Osprey. Runners get the Duro and Dyna vests with 500 ml soft flasks or a 1.5 L reservoir included. Mountain bikers get the Viper and Verve hydration packs with a 2.5 L reservoir and a magnetic bite valve clip. Gravel riders get the Escapist Velocity vests with a 1.5 L reservoir. Bikepackers get the Escapist frame bag, saddle bag and wedge bag, which mount without a rack. The Poco carriers take a child on the trail from newborn age. Choose by use, not by litres. On the run a bounce-free fit matters most, on the bike a sway-free mount. Most fabrics are recycled nylon or polyester with a PFAS-free DWR finish. Spare reservoirs, hoses and bite valves live under hydration systems. Compression sacks, packing cubes and pack liners sit alongside the backpack accessories. Regular packs live under bags and backpacks.
