Without fuel, the best stove is dead weight. This category stocks stove fuel in three forms. You will find gas canisters, solid fuel tablets and burning gel.
Threaded gas canisters typically come in 100 g, 230 g and 450 g sizes. They fit most screw-on burners. For winter, choose an isobutane and propane mix that keeps pressure below zero. Solid fuel tablets light in any weather and make a fail-safe backup in every pack. Gel fuel burns cleanly in open-tray stoves. For planning, a 230 g canister boils roughly 10 to 15 litres of water on a typical gas burner. Match the canister connection to your stove before ordering.
