Softshells
A softshell jacket is the three-season workhorse: windproof and water-repellent yet far more breathable than a membrane rain shell, which makes it ideal for active work in cool weather.
We carry tactical softshells with hoods, underarm ventilation zips and document pockets, including camouflage versions for exercises and hunting. Softshell or hardshell? A softshell shrugs off drizzle and wind and stays comfortable all day; in sustained rain you still layer a waterproof shell on top. When real frost arrives, add an insulated winter jacket under or over the softshell.
