Water Bottles
A dependable water bottle is the foundation of any kit. Conscript service, trail days and hunts burn through far more water than everyday life. Plan on at least three litres per person for a full day out.
The range covers NATO-pattern canteens that fit standard bottle pouches. They often nest with a cup or mess tin. A single-wall stainless bottle can be sterilised over a fire. Light BPA-free trail bottles hold 0.5 to 1.5 litres. For winter choose a wide mouth. It resists freezing shut and opens with gloves on. Military classics here include Mil-Tec.
