TAMREX Counterweight Pouch (ESTDCU)

TAMREX Counterweight Pouch is a tactical helmet-balance accessory designed to restore comfort and stability when running heavy front-mounted equipment such as NVGs, ballistic visors, or other mission devices. Front loads shift the helmet’s center of gravity forward, forcing continuous neck compensation. This pouch adds controlled rear weight, bringing balance back toward neutral and helping reduce fatigue during long operations.

The pouch attaches via a wide Hook & Loop base that locks securely to the helmet’s rear Velcro field or a compatible helmet cover. For even stronger retention, it includes tie-down straps that can be anchored to helmet side rails or other gear points, minimizing bounce and keeping the system stable during running, crawling, and vehicle movement.

Inside the pouch are dedicated loops for mounting weight elements or batteries. This allows the user to fine-tune counterbalance to the exact helmet setup — from lightweight monocular NVGs to heavier binocular systems. By distributing weight intelligently at the rear, you regain stability without adding unnecessary bulk or interfering with helmet profile.

Built for field use, the TAMREX pouch is easy to assemble, remove, clean, and maintain without tools. If your mission load changes, you can reconfigure your counterweight setup quickly on-site. Its compact, low-profile shape also helps prevent snagging while keeping the helmet rear clean and streamlined.

Note: Counterweights are not included. The pouch is intended to be used with user-selected weights or batteries.
