ComTac VIII is designed for professionals who must stay connected and alert while impulse and continuous noise remain under control.

The system provides reliable protection against both impulse noise (gunfire, blasts) and sustained noise. With Talk-Through enabled, safe environmental sounds – footsteps, commands, vehicle movement, movement cues – are amplified and passed through naturally, while harmful peaks are automatically suppressed to safe levels. You stay protected without losing the tactical sound picture.

ComTac VIII stands out with Soundscape automatic audio shaping and support for Mission Audio Profiles (MAP). MAP lets users tailor the acoustic environment for specific tasks – whether prioritizing comms clarity, vehicle operations, or CQB/urban fighting. Soundscape runs continuously, balancing the sound field so speech remains intelligible even in chaotic noise.

For communication, the headset features a noise-canceling boom microphone that rejects wind and background clutter while preserving voice clarity. The microphone is IP68-rated, offering dependable performance in dust, rain, and even immersion up to 3 meters. NATO J11 wiring ensures compatibility with standard tactical radios and PTT systems.
