Fleece Hats
The fleece hat is the workhorse of field headwear: light, quick to dry and warm even when sweaty. The price level lets you stash spares — one in the pack, one in a pocket, one on your head.
We carry fleece watch caps from Mil-Tec and others in olive, black and camouflage tones. Fleece excels at fast drying and soft comfort, but it will not stop a hard wind on its own — pull a hood over it when the gusts pick up. Paired with a neck gaiter, the combination covers the whole head and neck. Multi-day wear favours a merino beanie, helmets a helmet liner; both count as winter hats.
