Blood Type Patches
A blood type patch tells a first responder your blood group and Rhesus factor at a glance. Think A POS or 0 NEG. When a casualty cannot speak, a blood type patch removes one question from the chain of care.
Choose the patch strictly by your documented blood type. If you do not know it, have it confirmed at a blood centre first. A wrong marker is more dangerous than none. Wear it in a spot agreed across your unit. Helmet side, vest shoulder or sleeve all work. All common groups come embroidered or in PVC, including subdued colourways.
