Magazine Pouches
A magazine pouch holds the mag securely and gives it up in one movement. It is the hardest-working part of any load-bearing setup. Reliability counts here more than anywhere else.
Start with the magazine type: 5.56, 7.62 and pistol mags each need a different pouch size. An open-top pouch draws faster. A flap-top pouch holds the mag more securely in brush and while crawling.
