Mid Boots
Mid boots split the difference between the support of a high boot and the agility of a low shoe: the ankle is covered, but each stride stays light and fast.
Expect roughly 15 cm shafts and three-season versatility — waterproof membrane models alongside fast-drying breathable ones. A mid boot suits patrol duty, range days, airsoft and daily urban wear; if you regularly carry loads over 15 kg, step up to a high-shaft model instead.
