Frogs & Jackets
A combat shirt, also known as UBACS, is built to wear under a plate carrier or chest rig. The torso panel is thin and breathable. The sleeves use tough ripstop fabric that carries straps and pads without chafing. The category also includes jackets worn as the outer uniform layer.
The range covers all main manufacturers starting from UF PRO, Direct Action and Helikon-Tex. Colours run from camouflages (MultiCam, Flecktarn, ESTDCU) to single colours. Many shirts add elbow-pad pockets and sleeve admin pockets. NIR-compliant fabrics stay dark under night vision. Wearing armour all day? Pick a thin-torso shirt. For colder months, choose a heavier weave, use thermal underwear or layer a jacket on top. The lower half comes from tactical pants in the same BDU range.
Order early before a reserve exercise. That leaves time to swap sizes if needed.
